Costumes
This section includes a mix of my work from Costumes 1 and Costumes 2. We studied techniques such as figure drawing, as well as characterization through costume and how clothing can support a story. We worked through a variety of plays of different genres. Included here is a selection of costumes I designed for various characters from Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov, Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl, and a Regency-era production of Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare. Also included are a selection of my ‘Tuesday Projects’, a weekly assignment to draw someone you saw in public whose clothing made you notice them.
