Marisol is a magical realism play set in New York City. It follows a woman named Marisol as she encounters many dangerous and chaotic events caused by a war between angels and an old and senile god. Places where Marisol feels secure, like her tiny apartment, are blue. Places where she is in danger, like the street in Act 2, are much more wide open and red or orange. This is to support the idea of the fiery battlefields of a heavenly war, and the guardian angel’s inability to protect Marisol from it. This design was done in Set 2 in 2022.
